A steam train in the rain and sun how fun.

Actually the Diesel Locomotive is the silver Amtrak unit behind the tenders.  It is required to be along to provide Hotel Electric Power to the cars. It also is a nice safety to provide dynamic braking on hills and back up power.  The Steam Locomotive is equipped with Multiple Unit controller to remotely operate it.
