I can't speak for Viva but I finaly took my brand new 5DIII out of the box this weekend and am quite impressed with teh results. At first I was a bit dissapointed in the noise but then discovered that the thing defaults to HTP and ALO = ON. After setting these to OFF, the thing is as good as my 5DII and considerably better in terms of the pattern noise from what I can tell. I think I am going to be quite happy with it. I'll have a couple of cat shots up soon

No cats, but there is a black dog at 20,000 ISO

There is a Flickr link there too with plenty more shots at varying ISO. Needless to say, i am beyond happy with my purchase so far!
