What Does This Do?

This utility updates the SLT-A65V camera firmware to version 1.06 and provides the following benefits:

Improvements over version 1.05:

  • Provides support for the following automatic compensation compliant lenses:

  • Improves the responses for the front/rear dials

I have none of the above sony lenses, my A65 has V1.05 installed so does this mean that the firmware upgrade would be pointless for me.
