Kit lens comparison - 16mm pancake vs 18-55mm?

Hi, I just bought a used Nex 5N, going to bring it for an imminent trip. I'll be doing quite a bit of hiking so want to minimize weight.

Should I bring along the 16mm pancake for landscapes, or is the 18mm on the kit zoom good enough? I'm not a pixel peeper, so as long as color is good, and barrel distortion is minimized, I'm happy. I'll be shooting RAW.

I know the 16mm isn't much more weight, but I'm also bringing a Tamron 90mm for macros and a 1.2kg tripod. I still haven't decided if I should bring my focusing rail or not. It's heavy, but I could do focus stacking. Aargh...
