Sony 18-200mm lens

Several people here have posted photos with the 18-200.  I have, if you don't want to search you can look at the few I've got in my galleries here on DPR.  I really like the lens.  Is it worth $900.  For me, yes; it's my bread and butter lens - I use it for most of my shots.  The 55-210 is a fine lens and should do ok.  I think my 18-200 is sharper, but I've seen very good shots with the 55-210.  It's smaller and lighter and 1/3rd the price.  But I don't like changing lenses that often so I went with the original 18-200 OSS.
