Costco's deal is $2900 + local sales tax. In California it would cost me $3142
Not a great deal unless you wanted both lenses where having the ability to buy locally and save a little would be beneficial.
I am planning on getting my next camera (D600, D800 or D400) from the local camera store. NOT from B&H. Just because I want to patronize the local businesses. They let me spend about an hour playing with the D600 and D800 on Friday.
