A850 case cracked.......Now what?

I think you are correct to say that it depends on cost

I also like to keep my gear in top working order and how it looks is important to.

Looking at the break, it looks to be metal and not plastic that is cracked

a few years ago, I was shooting a protest in Oakland and got soaked by a police water cannon and needed to send my Zeiss 24-70/f2.8 in to get it dry, but the a850 came out if the event okay.

I don't think this a850 would take that soaking today with the crack
