On your first image I would crop it to about 10" X 19'. This would match the length of your other image. Clone out the two manhole covers an bump up the Saturation just a little to make the image pop. I would double matte both images with the outer matte being black and the inner matte a color in the image. Maybe a green from the color of the trees in the Monk photo. The mattes would be about 2.5 inches wide, with a black frame [ of your choice ] which would be about 1.5 to 2 inches wide. These colors would match your black and white decor and would look great on your wall. Trust me you will get a lot of good comments on this arrangement. If you have another photo it might look even better to have an arrangement of 3 images. All mounted the same way.
