Great News.
I was looking over the answers you got, maybe to find out if somebody indicate the fault.
FYI, motherboards do rarely "burn out" by themselves. If nothing works, always suspect first the power source or something fishy with powering the motherboard. If the controller "smells" something's not right, power is not switched on (crudely speaking, but very close to how it actually works). Anyway, the last one that usually receives power is the processor and only after all other checks are ok.
