I currently use a D90, and with the release of the D600 I'm really wanting to upgrade. My reasons for upgrading would mainly be IQ. I want the best image quality that I can get, while staying within my budget.

My question is, I know my current lenses will work with the D600, but how well will they work? I currently have:

Tokina 12-24

Nikon 35mm 1.8G

Nikon 50mm 1.8d

Tamron 18-200

Nikon 28-105

Is it worthwhile to upgrade with these lenses?

Tokina 12-24 works fine. You have different options:

- use from 19-24 FF

- use with crop 1.2 from 15mm

- use dx and slill plenty full 12-24 obviuosly.

And you will see vignetting from lens hood and filters  - so take it away. It adds you 1-2mm coverage wide.

in my quick tests there were no degrade in border IQ, even in extremes. Center IQ is better than D300.
