Canon G15 nice sample images, but not at 8000 ISO

Some nice sample shots from the G15 including hi ISO. The 8000 ISO is pretty bad, maybe ok for email. 3200 ISO does not seem so bad;

Looking at the G1X, and then there is the new Canon M series to consider as well. Hard to decide on a replacement for my older G5. The Canon rep at the recent Henry's show was suggesting that I get the G15 because of size and since I also already have an SLR. I like being able to shoot low light night time scenes, and then again I also like the small size of the G15. Hard to decide.
