Hello Bronwyni,
When you're using RAW format..the pictures are not post treated, you get the natural render of the sensor..it may help to try the same frame in JPEG format and see what you 'll get..
Try as well to use the Nikon Software to process your picture..or Lightroom (if you have it) the landscape photography is one of the most delicate subject for small sensor like P7700..i have tested as well the automatic scenes mode of the P7700 but i didn't get satisfaction with the results..
i returned to Av & Manual mode..and set the JPEG Picture Control this way : Standard mode
Sharpening: -1
Contrast: -1
Saturation: +1
This settings help me to get more latitude in Post Processing..
By the way your landscape is beautiful..nice colors & frame..
