On October 26 it is one year since our friend and fellow traveller of 1022 Bootstrap Bill had passed. It is a moment to look back and reflect, it is after all the piece of existence of the Sunday Scapes thread, and in some part the reason it survives.

I will borrow the words of Christina Rossetti. I can only hope our Sgt W D Turner would approve

Remember me when I am gone away,
        Gone far away into the silent land;
        When you can no more hold me by the hand,
        Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
