Slideshow beyond Aperture 3, Fotomagico4, Final Cut Pro X

I presently do slideshows in Aperture 3 for wedding clients,  the results are fine. I would like to go one step further and Fotomagico 4 and Final Cut Pro X appear to be the two options. The slideshows will contains some very short video clips.

The ability to have more than one still and video clip on screen at a time is the main drive to change.

Ease of use and the learning curve are of importance.

Finally having to do multiple slideshows a year means that the process has to be reasonably quick.

Any thoughts, suggestions or alternatives.
