While the idea of GPS built in a camera is not bad, GPS consumes a lot of energy, plus time to get a fix can be between 45 sec to a few minutes, depending on how long the GPS wasn't used. So, there is 2 questions: are you willing to invest in and take extra batteries with you, and will your subject wait until you get a GPS fix. People are alleady complaining about a 2,5 sec startup time of the camera, can you wait 2 minutes?

I think it might be useful sometimes, but not all the time
