Posting form too big?

It depends. The post textbox used to get bigger as you type, the longer you write, the bigger it will be. This removes the double vertical scroll bar.

Apparently this smart-ish feature doesn't work well with some browsers, people are reporting crashes and slowness. We have removed the automatic resizing (you can see a scroll bar now), but made the textbox big enough to support image insertion.
