Well, it arrived today, DOA.
Something wasn't right when I took it out of the box, it rattled.
The cap and hood were not on tight, so I thought it was that, but it seems there is an element flopping around inside and the focus ring is frozen. I thought my 16-50 was bad.
I think I will just hop on the train and get it replaced at lunchtime tomorrow.
