1.06 firmware A77

I had the camera auto-focus switch on the front of the camera turned OFF and the lens switch still ON and the lens still auto-focuses. The little green boxes where all the sensors are were lighting up too so it may be that with the lens switch on and the camera knob off, it’s back feeding or something to energize the phase detection sensors. Otherwise, the lens should not be able to auto-focus like that. It was just as fast too. Weird huh?

I found a bug in the new 1.06 firmware for the A77. I have a Tamron 18-270 PZD that I generally use the most and after flashing the new firmware, it reset everything so I had to go in and set up all my old setting from scratch.
