The asumption here is that theĀ  negative Bayer filter design of the 800e is truly lossless. There may still be significant filtering of the 800e despite the special filter design.

Since no one has got a camera with the negative bayer filter removed. Who can say whether removing the filter completely wont deliver even more detail.
