Gift or Income?

I do web design as a side business, I havwe an EIN number, claim my entire internet bill, cell phone, my home office, software, etc... My account tells me that at some point of NOT showing  aprofit, the IRS may class it as a Hobby and I would not be allowed to take any further deductions.
