You only go medium format if you need a humongous output resolution. What's the final output? Where will it be viewed and by whom?

If you're not printing billboards or huge prints, it really doesn't matter. All the sharpness in the world isn't going to matter unless the final output is pretty huge.

Getting medium format just to pixel peep on your monitor? Nah. I think I'll pass and settle for APS-C. Realistically, whatever format Sports Illustrated used 5 or 6 years ago is good enough for me and probably most shooters. They weren't using FF.
