I don't believe for one second that there is anything going on here that suggests DPR are deliberately suppressing Sigma information for commercial purposes. If that were the case they could simply not review Sigma products.  i had assumed that the unavailability of the SD1 samples in the comparator was simply a bug.

It's a surprise to hear there is a more complicated reason but I take their explanation at face value.

However, I believe it is a very poor reason and difficult to justify and certain gives the impression that DPR have been "nobbled" by industry players even though that is not the case.

They should re-think their argument and if they really feel that they need to explain the sigma results they should work an explanation is somehow.
