Build vs buy

So I have been doing a bit more research on the Dell 8500 in the refurb center versus building one from scratch, and while on the surface it certainly seems less expensive to buy the Dell, then upgrade with a SSD for about $700, I also believe you give up performance (unless I am completely off base).
The system that I specified (see link below) uses the same processor, a little more DRAM, same size SSD, smaller but twice the r/w speed HDD. I am not certain about the graphics performance of the on-board MSI mb. That being said I do own an older GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 graphics card which may be good enough for ph cs6.
