Canon 50mm(1.4) VS Sigma 30mm (1.4)

Please advise which lens to choose to fit my upcoming 7d body purchase.

Beign reading reviews and comments, can't say that 30mm is wide for 1.6 crop and gives aprox 50mm on ff. So the 30mm would make a great lens for everyday use.

I'm afraid that Canon's 50mm fix, would be too telephoto for 7d(hope i expressed correctly), and would be useless while shooting indoors, though this lens can provide a good bokeh while shooiting people outside in full hight.

I never had a DSLR, just fujifilm s9500 (you can find some of my photos here http://igorello.blogspot.com/?view=mosaic), but have an intention to shoot weddings and some stuff.

Please advise if you have any ideas or comments regurading my chiose. Thanks!
