Luego's Panasonic GF3X: Sexier than Oly E-M5?
Oct 18, 2012

Hi folks,

Perhaps some of you MFT enthusiasts would like to add some legacy lenses to their arsenal.

My recently acquired GF3X had quite a work-out lately. After some extensive testing and teething problems with blurry images at FL42mm, it was time to look for some alternatives.

So I got myself a M42-m4/3 adapter (Fotodiox) to use some lenses from my Pentax Spotmatic film camera.

I must say these old lenses all look and feel terrific on the GF3X, especially the 55/f1.8 (110mm) and 35/f3.5 (70mm) primes.

Of course you lose the AF, but the touch screen feature (focus-point enlargement) on the GF3 in M mode makes focusing a breeze.

Here are some pics to show size comparison to P&S and FF size cam.

What do you think? Isn't she sexier than the Oly E-M5?
