Looks like Canon retracted the release notice according to canonrumors.com.
However, its likely they will re-release the release.
The best thing about the release is that Canon has made an attempt to fix the missing AF at f/8. I does leave me a bit skeptical that they actually somehow improved the ability of the AF sensors rather than simply removing the firmware code that limited AF to less than f/8. One might think that Canon is now willing to let the 1DX struggle slightly more at f/8 in order to respond to the those who grumbled?
