iPad3 VS Calibrated Macbook screen

Dear all, please allow me to ask the following.

I have a rather old Macbook unibody 13" dating back, end of 2008 which i use to process my photos. Its screen is calibrated using a Spyder 3 calibrator.

When i process the images and transfer them to my iPad 3 however, the images look more "alive" due to the retina display but also, the color shifts towards a cooler tone.

So which display is reproducing the most accurate color? From a recent online article i learned that iPad3 reproduces correct sRGB colors but even so, the colours differ with my calibrated macbook screen.

So which device is showing the correct colors?
