D600 and Aperture

Well I bit the bullet and picked up the Nikon D600.  Shot 100 pics with it and tried to download the pics in Aperture only to find out that it is not supported yet.  Pretty disappointed.  Anyone know when Apple will release an update?  Somewhat surprised it's not available given how long the camera has been available and wonder how different the NEF files could possibly be to other Nikon cameras?
