The print head for your printer is nearly as expensive as the printer itself when you add the cost of new lines and ink tanks. Unless you intend to print daily, stick wiht genuine inks. I used to buy mine in Hong Kong at 60% of Australian prices. The same firm also sells their own brand inks quire cheaply.

You can buy tanks from them that have refillable chips so if you went that route, you just need to refill the tanks and go on your merry way. Do I recommend it? Heck no! But there are plenty who do. Farbe Colour Group is the firm.
