A57 for sport photo/video.

One situation I have not had a chance to use my a57 in is indoor sports/action.  Other than that, I can testify that a57 is great for sports/action.  AF is fast and accurate, as long as you can keep the subject in the FOV.  I did find one review on YouTube that said AF in dark indoor lighting is problematic (I don't know what kind of lighting your ice hockey is played in).  For lens, if you plan to use for video a lot, you may want to consider an all-in-one type of zoom with much wider zoom range.  I am waiting for the Sony-mount of Sigma 18-250 F3.5-6.3 DC Macro, which is supposed to come out soon.
