Pentax 50-135 - why is it always

THANKS!  I called B&H and got the $824 price on a brand new one.  They said they were about to raise the price back up to the online $1500 price very soon.  I also picked up the full 3-year coverage for $165.  Given the reputation I figured that was prudent.

So, the Amazon warehouse lens is going back.  I think it's probably OK but for the same price and warranty it was a no-brainer!
