Best shots from beautiful France.

As a long time Parisian, with a great many street photos of the city under my belt, I can say that TrojMacReady's quote of Stéphane Dieu pretty much sums up the issue. Yes the Eiffel Tower's lighting is copyrighted, but this has essentially to do with the commercial usage of the ET's night illumination. Paris is the most visited city in the world, with some 60 million visitors every year, the equivalent of France's total population. it would be foolish to try and stop the private exchange of pictures of its most iconic monument. Anyway, as Stépahne Dieu's last name in French means God, I suppose we are entitled to take his statement as, uh, well… gospel !
