what's your point-and-shoot?

Assuming that a point and shoot camera entails a non-ILC type, my nine year old Sony F828 still delivers. It was my primary camera for seven years (with several Canon A-series and Panasonic Lumix compact cameras along the way for backup) until I brought home A55 and later NEX-3.
