Is that because you don't know how to get the best out of Silkypix?

For a start, it is important to zero the noise reduction controls, especially chroma NR (see false Color Control) because these are set too high by default

Then, always set the Demosaic sharp control to 100%.

The default positions are nothing like the real image should be set at.  It's like expecting a digital camera to always expose correctly at its default exposure setting.
