Image Stabilization wont make any difference for moving objects. But if your object is stationary, it will help overcome camera shake from your moving hand if you cant get a fast enough shutter speed otherwise (i.e., maybe a low light scenario in a museum for example).

Shutter speed is the key to freezing moving objects. Any of the Fuji lenses can freeze a moving object if you can get the shutter speed fast enough, some of the lenses may be better than others at focus tracking a moving object, from what I read, ymmv.
