Thank you Bills_pix,

by which you mean....(?) it is no longer good? or the solution is still good?

I am sorry english is not my first language so I have a hard time sometime to understand what people mean.

thanks

Thanks everybody for the info, I am going to send the d800 in for the cleaning this first time and then start doing it myself from now on as I used to with previous cameras.

In fact I still have the eclipse liquid into its original little bottle so all I relaly need is the larger size swabs for the FX sensor size.

My new question is, do you suppose that the eclipse liquid that has been stored for years now into its original bottle into a closet in the darkness is still working? or should I buy a new one? if I shake it I feel there is half full.

does it expire?

thanks

Given that it evaporates 100% with no residue, I would think that if there is anything in the bottle then it is pure Eclipse.  I am on only my 2nd bottle in 7 years.
