Is it time for war against Nikon?
Oct 15, 2012

Everyone knows Nikon has decided to stop selling parts to repair shops they don't "like." I have been complaining about their refusal to repair my D3 for a well known problem (rear screen glass fogging) and now I read this post:
http://www.sportsshooter.com/message_display.html?tid=40740

I should note that the exact words Nikon used were "water damage" when they refused my repair.

Is it time for a organized effort against Nikon USA?

I know the petition is going around and I signed it, but in the light of the above post, I doubt anything will happen on that.

Good cyclists are:
Visible, Predictable, Alert, Assertive and Courteous
They also use the five layers of protection available.
Layer 1: Control your bike (Don't fall or collide with others)
Layer 2: Follow the rules (Don't be the cause of traffic crashes)
Layer 3: Use Lane position (Discourage other drivers mistakes)
Layer 4: Hazard Avoidance (Avoid other drivers mistakes and road hazards)
Layer 5: Utilize passive protection (Use protection when all else fails)
