What are you talking about?  The Sigma SD1 was originally close to $10,000, and then was slashed to around $3500, with a minimum RRP of ~$2500.

The case of the X-Pro 1 price decrease is not in the same ballpark.  It's minor.  Heck, in the face of competition, I'd say it was expected.

If you can't stomach it, just don't ever be an early adopter.  You weren't born yesterday.  You knew you were paying a bit more, as demand for the camera was higher.   Once interest drops, so do prices.  That's just the way it is, and I don't find this unfair.
