Sony RX100 vs Pureview 808 : Sample Pictures (Opinions Appreciated)

We've seen how the Nokia Pureview 808 blows away the competition in the camera phone segment. Now, it would be interesting to see how does this device stack up with one of the top-range P&S cameras - the Sony RX100.

Most here may have seen these comparison pictures elsewhere but I thought I'd just post them here anyway. Let me know what you guys think. My thoughts are posted below.

Thoughts:-

The colours on the RX100 appear to be richer and more accurate, especially the greens on the leaves. The colour and detail on the pole seems to be close though the image on the RX100 seems to be slightly overexposed. The wood tone on the 808 looks more natural to me.

Thoughts:-

There is a huge variation in colours here. Not too sure if the Pureview 808 is putting out more yellows or the RX100 is displaying more whites but my gut feel tells me the image on the RX100 is more accurate. The text on the background and chocolate bar seems more well-defined on the RX100.

Thoughts:-

A close-call this one. Nothing much separates between these two pictures. Colours and detail are fairly similar.

Thoughts:-

The detail and colours on the RX100 look superior here. However, the "DENON" text on the cup of the headphones(you need to blow up the picture) has more smudge on the Pureview 808. Does this mean that the 808 reveals more detail than the RX100? For overall picture quality the RX100 still wins here. More shine and luster on the wooden cups and an overall brighter image.

The image on the RX100 shows better detail here. Overall more clarity to everything.

Thoughts:-

The image on the Pureview 808 looks better to me here. Perhaps the shot taken with the RX100 here is done with shaky hands or something. If one were to look closely on the blown-up image, the lights on the buildings and streets look bleached.
