10/14/2012 Weekly landscape show and tell

It's that time of year where sunrise is while I'm on the train or subway, so I like to snap a few pictures when I can.  The light is sometimes pretty good in the early morning this time of year, so bringing my camera along helps me feel better about having to go to work.

This is taken through a very dirty, very plastic window in a moving subway car, so if it looks a bit soft that's why.  I occasionally get some funny looks as I square up as best I can to the subway window (to eliminate glare from the lights in the car).

I did a worse job of shielding the light from the cabin, which you can see on the left of the photograph.
