Lastest Canadian D800 still have left focus issue - October 2012

Just got my D800 at a Canadian retailer yesterday.  Serial number is 50080XX.  This is one of the latest units they received in late September.   I also visited 4 other stores in Toronto and most serial numbers on the shelves are 5005XXX.

Left focus point - Live view is on the right

Test using Thom Hogan instruction:

• 50mm 1.4 at f1.4, 1/1000
• ISO 100
• Distortion correction off
• Tripod, timer

Right & center focus are fine and are identical to live view.  Attached is the AF-S vs Live view for the left focus point.

(Canadian market is 1/10th of the American market so this is roughly equivalent to 3080XXX)
