INQUIRY: G12 versus G15 balance on Comparometer

Can people chime in as to how they think I should make a fair comparison when comparing the two cameras on the helpful Comparometer?

My understanding is that the G15 is - basically - a one and a third stops faster than the G12.  In addition to the fast lens, the Digic 5 processor removes "70% more noise" supposedly as a feature.  Thus, should I estimate some gain there and set the Comparometer with the G15 two stops faster than the G12.  In other words, am I close in estimating that I can set the G15 at ISO 400, while setting the G12 at ISO 1600?  Can I expect that to be a real-world comparison of sharpness and noise levels between the two?

Thanks,

Michelle
