EOS Utility won't recognize 5DIII using Win7 64-bit

Thanks. I've tried that in the past and it didn't seem to help. However, when I get a chance, I'll try it again; although, I'm assuming you mean you uninstalled everything that was Canon software; and I haven't tried that solution - just uninstalling and reinstalling EOS Utility.

Fortunately, I am able to use my laptop when I need remote control over the camera.
