Having it adjust to focal length on a zoom lens is far more important in my mind.

I'm not sure how easy that would be actually. To make that work properly, (read: a high enough shutter speed but not an extremely conservative one) there are so many factors to take into consideration. How shaky is the user, is he/she really trying to keep the camera steady or just taking a snapshot? Is there a VR system, when yes, how effective is it (especially for third party lenses)?

I think the camera would have to make so many assumptions that I could make a better decision on my own (yes Canon, talking about you). But I read somewhere that it's included in the newest Nikons as well, was it D4 or D800 or both? Have anyone had any experience with it there?
