I just received my new camera.  The box says"for US only".  The directions say it will do video for 29:59.  I notice some on this forum indicate they can do longer videos.  Are the instructions wrong or is there a special setting that allows longer videos?  Thanks.

On page 26 of the US manual, in the footnotes, it says this:

• Maximum time to record motion pictures continuously with [MP4] is 29 minutes 59 seconds or up to 4 GB.
You can check the recordable time on the screen. (For [FHD] in [MP4] format, the file size is large and so the recordable time will drop below 29 minutes 59 seconds.)

4GB is the maximum file size when the storage medium is formatted in FAT32, which is the case as the FZ200 doesn't handle ExFAT as far as I know.

However, if we record in AVCHD on a US FZ200 the continuous single recording time for the movie will depend upon the size of the card.  I think there is a 32GB limit here due to FAT32 limitations, but i'm not certain.
