How Oly missed my boat

…and presumably lots of others

I’m very close to jumping ship and buying a Panny G5.  Deal not quite done because there are two nagging doubts, BIFs and the Lens IS on the Pannys.  It is a shame that Panny and Oly decided to go different ways on the IS solution.  If the G5 was Oly there wouldn’t be an issue but Oly have failed completely to come up with anything that replaces the EXXX and EXs.   Fair enough that they have decided to concentrate on micro m4/3s but even there is nothing that really provides the solution for people like me who love the E620.  When deciding which way I should jump Oly’s lack of offerings mans they come below Panny, Nikon, Canon, and even Pentax on my list.   Great shame but maybe they don’t need the likes of me.

I’d be interested to hear from any EXXX to G5 jumpers and their experience
