There are polls and there are polls

At the risk of making a post where the cursor is invisible (it is when I start one)

This poll that is running has a slight majority of "we likethumbs" and a slightly behind "get rid of them altogether".

Has it ocurred to anyone that those that post words almost 100% want to get rid of the horrid thumbs and those that just give thiumbs think it is a great idea and are 100% behind them remaining.

Excuse the typos as I cannot see a cursor and correcting one is fraught.

However if the posters of words get p--d off by malignant maximinus stalkes then all that will be left of dpreview forums is a lot of thumb raters and masochists saying 'hit me more'.

So I am unconcerend as otherwise I would not postthis and just shift off somewhere else ("good!" I hear) But I am made of sterner stuff and slings and arrows bounce off me.  So I am not on here whinging, moaning, or otherwise tering my hair out.  Just trying to point out that the new arragements for running dpreview forums need just a little more work.

I have never liked being a beta tester, but alpha?

Typos uncorrected, even I don't have that much time to find and correct them by guess and by god.

Troll minus givers do not so much as reduce the volume of traffic on the forum but effectively provide a useless subject to dominate all the posting and thereby destroy any remaining usefulness.
