Workaround for Spectraview II Mountain Lion issue?
|
Here I sit with my $1200 NEC display (2690wuxi2) which is now useless with a machine running 10.8 Mountain lion. Won't recognize my display in Spectraview II software nor the calibration puck.
Luckily I had a calibration profile saved from my old setup but now I cannot update it. Has anyone figured out a workaround yet to get this thing calibrated? I've started having color shifts in Photoshop when zooming and some very odd shifting from Photoshop > Preview > Web. I never had this problem prior to not being able to update my hardware profiles.
The only things I can see as an option are:
1. Spend $250 on a 3 year old Apple 5770 AMD card (since their disclaimer states it's only NVIDIA cards and apparently my GTX285 is one of them)
2. Spend $450 on a Dell U2410 replacement that doesn't require SVII software
