Forum index incomplete on forum pages

I usually start by dropping down the Forum Index on the home page which displays as normal. However, if I drop it down while in a particular forum the list loses many items in the list. This makes it very tedious to jump from, say, the Canon forum to the Pro Digital Talk forum as the Pro Digital forum does not appear.

Also the search feature seems to be broken as I could not search for any mention of this topic.

The other thing I have wondered is why we can upvote our own posts? I am a great admirer of my thoughts but the Puritan in me feels a bit uncomfortable about the ability to exalt myself further.

Otherwise, Kudos for a job well done on such a large project.
