Is the 5D11 at least as good or slightly better than the original 5D?

Thanks to everyone for their replies, even the humerus ones concerning my use of 11 and 111 instead of 2 and 3. I have purchased the 5D2, grip, extra batteries and an extra charger for $2,273.99.

I will, at a future time send my 5D to Canon and see about my shutter problem which manifests itself by cutting one third of the image diagonally from the top left down towards the bottom third of the image and replacing the actual image with dark brown to black.

It also spit out what I believe to be shutter lubricant all over the sensor. The phenomenon of the image cutoff seems to only happen when using flash, two different 580 EX2 units which both work as they should with my 7D.
